Operational hours and curfews

Brindsi Airport is 24 hrs Operational

Permits

Non schedule operators permit is required for non schedule operators. The operator needs to submit the following documents  5 working days before the date of flight to CAA Italy:

  1. Air Operator Certificate (AOC), with attached Operations Specifications;
  2. indication of the registered office mailing address, fax, e-mail;
  3. right of use of aircraft (whether owned, leased – dry lease – or hired – wet lease);
  4. insurance certificate, drawn up on the standard format of ENAC and valid to cover all aircraft to be used;
  5. Security Program and letter of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Country of the carrier certifying that the Security program complies with ICAO Annex 17.

For Private operations no permit is required.

Crew Visas

Depending on the nationality, crew requires schengen visa.

Customs, Immigration

Customs and Immigration are available at main terminal and can be cleared in 10-15 mins.

Ground handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, passport nos and date of births.  Please check with your ground handler in advance for availability of all the required ground equipment.

Business Aviation Operations to Kangerlussuaq

Operational Hours 

In Kangerlussuaq, Operational Hours are from 1000 UTC until 1900 UTC. The airport can be opened outside working hours by paying overtime surcharge.

Landing and Airport Slots

Landing permit is not required at Kangerlussuaq. Notification to the local ground handler is required.

Visas

Crew and Passenger requires visa for entry into Denmark.

Customs  and immigration

Customs and Immigration will be cleared at main terminal. Generally it will be 10-15 mins to clear customs.

Weather

Please check the weather and notams before flight as most of the times weather is not good in Greenland.

Ground handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, crew airline transport pilot license, passport nos and date of births.  Please advise the ground handler in advance if you require ground handling services for out of hours.

Operating hours and curfews

In Delhi Operational Hours are 24 Hrs. Please check with the local handler for Notams before flight.

Permits and Parking Slots

Airport Slots are required at Delhi Airport. To secure the slots YA soft copy should be submitted.

To Secure the YA permit , The following documents are required to be submitted to Indian CAA:

C of A, Certificate of Insurance, Passport and Visa copies of Crew, Passenger Manifest and Crew Manifest.

The Lead time to secure the landing permit is 3 working days. Please note the working hours of DGCA is Monday to Friday 1000 IST to 1800 IST. However the YA permits can be secured within 6hrs for Ambulance flights during out of office hours.

Crew Visas

Crew requires Visa for entering India. The Temporary Landing Permit (TLP) for Crew can be issued at only at Delhi but that depends on case to case.

Customs and  Immigration

All the International flights, passengers and crew will be cleared through Terminal 3 at Delhi. Fuel duty needs to paid, if the next sector is domestic. For tech stop flights there is no need for passengers and crew to deplane.

Ground handling

Expect some delays by ground handlers. The parking bays are allocated by Delhi airport. You would be lucky if you could get the parking bay at T3 or expect around 15 to 20 mins travel time on ramp to reach the terminal. Towbar is required to be onboard and needed, as sometimes power in and power out bays are not available.
