Business Aviation Operations to Sydney

Operational Hours

Sydney  International Airport is 24 hours operational. Please note the curfew hours are between 2300 – 0600 LT. Only GA aircrafts less than 34 tons are allowed during curfew hours to operate.

Parking Slots and Landing Permits

Parking slots are required at Sydney International Airport. Please secure the parking slots well in advance as it is very difficult in securing slots in last minutes.

For Private non revenue flights landing permit is not required. If operating 4 or 5 times a year with passenger capacity more than 20 landing permit and permit from Department of Transport and Environment(DTE)is required. The lead time to secure DTE permit is 10 working days.

For non Schedule operations  charter permit is required from CASA . The lead time to secure the permit from CASA is 5 working days. Required documents includes Air operator certificate(AOC), Insurance copy and Australian Transport security plan. Australian Transport security plan requires 6 to 8 weeks to process and obtain. Please note there should not be any change in the passenger list which you have submitted in CASA during departures and arrivals.

Crew Visa

For some countries crew can travel on GD. If you need crew visa please send the scanned copy of passport and passport photo to the local ground handler. The ground handler can arrange visa permit in 3 working days.

Customs Immigration and Quarantine

Passengers and crew can clear customs at respective FBOs. If requested the ground handler customs clearance can be arranged on board.

Ground Handling

As the ground handler s are well versed in local procedures and regulations and ready to facilitate and smooth and seamless trips. Please provide all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, crew airline transport pilot license, passport nos and date of births.  So that the ground handler can assist you in securing the slots, customs clearances and during curfew hours.

Business Aviation Operations to Beijing

Operating Hours and Curfews

Beijing International Airport (ZBAA) is operational for 24 hours. Please check with the ground handler for any restrictions.

Parking Slots

Airport slots are required at ZBAA. One private jet is not allowed to occupy two or more slots during 0001 – 1400Z in one day.

No slots for takeoff between 2300z – 0059z.

No restrictions between 1600z – 2159z.

Between 2200z – 1559z, CAAC only issues 2 slots/hour. One for foreign registered aircraft, one for domestic.

Please note that at ZBAA, non-ZBAA based business jets are  allowed to park not more than 48 hours. If you need parking  for more than 48 hours, kindly plan to position your aircraft to ZBTJ, ZBSJ, ZYTL in advance.

Permits

For landing permits, a lead time of 4 working days is required. Sponsor Letter with  flight schedule and complete crew and passenger details with full names, passport numbers, expiration dates, nationality and date of birth is required. Sponsor letter should be provided from a local business contact  along with the permit application. Sponsor letter needs to be in a specific format acceptable to CAAC and must be written in Chinese language along with the company seal of local business contact. Sponsor letters require full name and contact details of the sponsor, along with company name and job position of the person signing the letter. Please note the business contact must be located in the same city to which the aircraft is travelling.

Permit is valid for the given schedule only. Crew must follow the route which is given in the landing permit. Only two permit revisions are accepted by CAAC. Every operation in and out China can only have 6 sectors.

Crew Visas

Crew requires visa for travelling to China and it must be a C – Type visa.

Customs, Immigration and Quarantine

At ZBAA, passengers and crew must clear customs, immigration and quarantine from the general aviation terminal only.

Ground Handling

The ground handler requires all the information such as aircraft call sign, schedule, crew and passengers information including gender, crew airline transport pilot license, passport nos and date of births.  Please check with your ground handler  in advance for availability of all the required ground equipment.

Business Aviation Operations to Jakarta

Operational Hours

Soerkarno Hatta International Airport (WIII) and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (WIHH) are two airports present in Jakarta. Both airports are 24 hours operational but with restrictions. Please check the notams for restrictions and curfew hours. Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (WIHH) is the closest airport to the city.

Parking Slots and Landing Permits

Parking slots are required at Soerkarno Hatta International Airport (WIII) but not at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (WIHH). Please note overnight parking is not available at WIII.

Landing permits are required for operating in Indonesia. The flight documents C of A, Cof R, Insurance copy and Flight details with schedule needs to be submitted to CAA Indonesia. The lead time to secure landing permit is 5 working days.

Crew Visa

Visa on arrival facility for crew is available at Indonesia. Crew must be holding valid passport and crew identity card.

Customs, Immigration and Quarantine

At Soerkarno Hatta International Airport (WIII) Special access for VIP arrival and departures is not available and customs Clearance needs to be completed at main Terminal.

Whereas at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport (WIHH) customs clearance is done at the FBO and has a lounge for the passengers.

Ground Handling

Please provide the aircraft documents, schedule, Crew and passenger details to the ground handler in advance. Passengers, Crew and baggage have to pass through security check twice before entering departure terminal and before boarding the aircraft. The FBO checks the Identity of person and Aircraft ownership documents depending on the situation.

Business Aviation Operations to United States of America

Permits required for entering U.S.A.

To enter U.S.A., TSA waiver is required  for non U.S. registered aircrafts if flying domestic sectors inside U.S.A. and APIS needs to be filled in advance.

The lead time to secure T.S.A. waiver is 5 working days. The documents required for T.S.A. waiver are Certificate of Airworthiness, Certificate of Registration, Insurance Certificate, Noise Certificate, Air Operator Certificate, Crew Medical Certificate, Crew Valid License, Crew Passport.

Aircraft should do the flights which are give in the approved waiver destinations.

The TSA waiver needs to be revised if there is any change in the schedule or Crew , adding passengers.

Generally for revisions the lead time is 3 working days.

Please note the aircraft registered in China(PRC), Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan or Syria both TSA waiver and Federal Aviation Administration routing approval for every flight into and out of U.S. is required.  Lead time for FAA routing is 2 business days and it will be granted only after submission of TSA waiver approval.

Parking Slots

Parking slots can be secured easily by the local ground handler.

Please check the notams of the airport before departure.

Customs Immigration  Arrangements

We need to check with the local airport customs and immigration office before preparing schedule as the customs and immigration timings are different for different airports. Customs needs to be notified before arrival and departure.

Ground Handling

The local ground handler will only assist in arranging slots, payment of airport charges and basic  ground handling. Customs notification should be arranged using 3rd party services. Expect delays for arrivals and departures in U.S. as most of the airports are busy with local traffic.
