In Delhi Operational Hours are 24 Hrs. Please check with the local handler for Notams before flight.

Permits and Parking Slots

Airport Slots are required at Delhi Airport. To secure the slots YA soft copy should be submitted.

To Secure the YA permit , The following documents are required to be submitted to Indian CAA:

C of A, Certificate of Insurance, Passport and Visa copies of Crew, Passenger Manifest and Crew Manifest.

The Lead time to secure the landing permit is 3 working days. Please note the working hours of DGCA is Monday to Friday 1000 IST to 1800 IST. However the YA permits can be secured within 6hrs for Ambulance flights during out of office hours.

Crew Visas

Crew requires Visa for entering India. The Temporary Landing Permit (TLP) for Crew can be issued at only at Delhi but that depends on case to case.

Customs and  Immigration

All the International flights, passengers and crew will be cleared through Terminal 3 at Delhi. Fuel duty needs to paid, if the next sector is domestic. For tech stop flights there is no need for passengers and crew to deplane.

Ground handling

Expect some delays by ground handlers. The parking bays are allocated by Delhi airport. You would be lucky if you could get the parking bay at T3 or expect around 15 to 20 mins travel time on ramp to reach the terminal. Towbar is required to be onboard and needed, as sometimes power in and power out bays are not available.
